The Destiny 2 Trials of Osiris Crucible mode is finally here. After a longer break after the Trops of the Nine Flop, Bungie has revived the original PVP activity as the center of the Season of the Worthy. Destiny 2 exams of Osiris will be familiar to Veterans of Destiny 1 as well as many of his rewards, but this time there are some new rules and features. For this purpose, we have summarized everything they need to know from the time when Trials of Osiris begins, up to what they can earn by playing.
When do the processes begin against Osiris?
Trials of Osiris can be played every weekend from Friday at 10am PST / 13 o'clock EST / 6 pm GMT until the next Tuesday. It works on the same clock like XUR, appears every weekend and ends with the next weekly reset.
How do Trials of Osiris work?
Trials is a competitive crucible mode that uses 3V3 elimination rules. You must have at least 960 power to be able to participate as it is a power-enabled activity, though bungie says that a power ceiling will soon be introduced. You also need a prefabricated fireteam of three people because Trials matchmaking does not support like the Competitive Playlist.
To participate in Trials of Osiris, you must buy a trials ticket. Every time you win a match, you get a kind of stamp on your ticket. If you lose, you will also receive a stamp. They play until they win seven games or lose three games, and then get rewards based on their performance. The players are also played against each other based on the progress of their tickets. So if you achieve six victories, you have to expect to play against people who have about six victories.
The ultimate goal of trials is to win seven games without losing a single - in other words, a faultless run. With a faultless run, you can access the lighthouse, an exclusive final area with a special booty box, in which error-free rewards are output. More about that.
Who is the provider of Trials of Osiris?
Saint-14, which was rescued retroactively in dawn, is the new provider of Trials of Osiris. You will find him in the tower where he sells test cards, passages and headgards. You will also submit test brands against Saint-14 in exchange against testing engrams.
What are exams of Osiris passages?
The new version of Trials of Osiris contains five unique passages that can help players when climbing to the lighthouse. You can only equip a passage, but you can change your passage at any time. However, if you work up a new passage, your progress will be reset so you really want to buy only one passage per ticket. Passages cost 25,000 mica and 15 legendary shards per pop, so you can not buy them exactly as a spam.
The passages are:
- Mercy Passage (always available): awards a loss per ticket.
- Wildness Passage (Always Available): If you have no losses, your third party counts as two victories.
- Confidence passage (unlocked after you have gone error free): Grants a bonus reward from the faultless chest.
- Wealth Passage (unlocked at five wins): Earn more test brands when you finish testing games and win.
- Wisdom passage (unlocked at seven wins): Grants Bonus XP from test winding based on the number of profits on your ticket.
Destiny 2 trials of osiris reward explains
You do not have to go faultless to get good prey for tests. Apart from the lighthouse box, Loot is distributed through test engrams and ticket rewards.
You can get trials engrams by replacing trials tokens you can earn by completing weekly, daily and repeatable trials bounties sold by Saint-14, as well as trials matches. Note that unused test brands disappear every Tuesday so you can not store them. In addition, testing engrams can only assign new roles with objects that you have already received. So you have to win at least a few games to get the ball into wheels.
This brings us to ticket rewards. Simply expressed means more gain on your ticket better rewards in the end. Here is the breakdown:
- Three Victories: Animal 2 Powerful Gear (Small Power Boost)
- Five victories: Animal 3 Powerful Gear (Great Power Boost)
- Seven victories: Pinnacle equipment (biggest power boost)
These are weekly rewards, so you can earn every booty drop only once a week and character. That is, you can earn infinite testing engrams as long as you have token to swap, but these leave no powerful equipment.
The good news is that you get all three drops at once when you get a card with seven profits, whether error-free or not. Note that these drops are bound to the number of profits that you can achieve on a single card, and not to the number of profits you achieve on a weekend. If you want these Pinnacle equipment, you must win seven games on a map.
What are the flawless rewards?
Players reaching the lighthouse receive additional Pinnacle equipment as well as exclusive cosmetics that demonstrate their triumph. First: armor lights up. Faultless players can spice up their trials armor with a yellow shimmer. This luminaire will fade after a week, and to update it, you have to go faultless again.
You can change the color of this light by equipping one of two exclusive flawless emblems. Light for the lost lights white and represents guards, the projects to wear others to the lighthouse. Flawless Empyreaean changes the lights in red and marks the guards who want to stop players from getting to the lighthouse (by pounding them in exams). These emblems can also be equipped with statistical trackers that specify how many lighthouse trags or shutdowns they performed as well as other test statistics.
At the moment, this seems to be the only flawless rewards. In other words, the Adept weapons lent in Destiny 1 did not return.
