The head of the television series halo addresses Canon's concerns

When the aureole the television series premieres next year Paramount +, viewers will probably not have to know many of the canon's complexities to enjoy the program. The developer 343 Industries has confirmed that the series will take place in its very separate continuity, despite the previous rumors that suggest that it could be set in the same world as the Xbox games. In a video shared by the Twitter account of Alopecia, that news was confirmed by Kiki Wolf kill of 343 Industries, who is also one of the executive producers of the program. Wolf kill confirmed that the new timeline even has its own name: the timeline of Halo Silver.

We have some context and perspective that is different from some of those stories we have experienced or read in the games. We refer to this as the timeline of Halo Silver as a way to differentiate it from the Central Canon, while protecting the Central Canon and protecting television history. And with that I mean being able to give us the opportunity to evolve both, and that both are what they need for their doctors without colliding with each other said Wolf kill.

It is difficult to argue with the Logic of Wolf kill! Hallo is one of the largest video game franchises in the world, but the new television series presents Xbox the opportunity to reach a new audience. Chaining the program to the canon of video games would make it difficult for newcomers to fully appreciate the transmission series without spending hours playing all games or reading about them.

That does not mean that current fanatics are not going to enjoy a faithful experience to the halo franchise! With 343 Industries working in close collaboration with Showtime and Ambling Television in the series, fans may be able to see a final product that is authentic for the games that inspired it. Of course, fidelity to the original material does not always equal quality, but aureole seems quite promising, so far!
